The past three weeks I been going up to my sister in laws painting with *eeek Acrylic. And I found out I was pretty good with it. of course with the help of my sister in law. I painted my first abstract painting. I guess the reason why I haven't painted in so long is cuz I was affraid of what would come out. But looking at my abstract you can see the pain I felt last year. it represents scars only on the inside.
then I have my Panda painting. I love pandas. And what would be better then to paint one. Of course I drew it on the canvas last year or the year before. Never got around to painting it. As you can see the panda looks sad. Probably cuz I was depressed at the time. I didn't mean for it to look sad. I didn't know what color to paint the rose and my sister in law told me Yellow. Now when I look at the painting I see my Panda is in a painful place on the inside and looks at the yellow rose. Rose said to be something beautiful that will not last for long. Yellow shows bright happy moments. Together it means the panda is remembering the time when it was the happiest time of his life which didn't last very long. That is what I see when I look at it.
This next one is of a tarot card. I got bored at home and went threw my cards and found one I haven't done a drawing on. I feel this child called out to me. The beach is suppose to be relaxing. Forget everything and sooth your soul. The child I feel is my inner child. The first photo is of the card. The second is the painting.
The Child of Souls
This is a shy child with dark black curly hair. He turns partly away from us, but peeps back through his fingers, smiling. He wears a simple tunic and kilt of light blue, in the same style as that of the king, but with no gold ornamentation. The child is on a sandy beach, with the sea washing around his bare feet. To one side, the side from which he turns away and thus out of his sight, a small closed wood chest is washed up on the shore.
This child is Earth and Water, a simple, seemingly shy boy or girl, perhaps the child within. We see the child at the ocean shore, and the wooden ark is the secret vessel which he or she is soon to open. (What my book says)
